Sunrise happens very early in summer in the Pacific Northwest so sunrise mountain photography can be a bit tricky. I took this Mt Shuksan sunrise photograph at 4:55am in late June of 2015. Getting to Artist Point that early was challenging, especially for a night owl like me, but to capture this glorious Mt Shuksan photography wall art print, it was certainly worth it.
 
Most Mt Shuksan photography is done midday or at sunset, because that's when the face of the mountain is lit up. But the magic of this photo is the way the silhouette of the mountain, and the rocks surrounding this small mountain tarn, form a strip through the center of the frame making them seem suspended in space in the middle of this fine art Mt Shuksan photography art print.
