Sunbeams on Shi Shi Beach
Sunbeams shine through the early morning mists of Shi Shi Beach as a tree crowned sea stack obscures the sun in this beach landscape photograph.
Expansive Pacific Northwest Beach Photography
Surely one of the best parts of backpacking is seeing the wilderness in the beautiful morning light. The Olympic Coast beach photography for sale here was taken on Shi Shi beach in September of 2012 on a solo backpacking trip I took there. It was cloudy and rainy for the two days leading up to this, so waking up to blue skies, I was ecstatic. Even more exciting was the thick coastal mist that stretched down the beach capturing the sunlight in the vibrant beams shown in this fine art Pacific Northwest beach photography wall art.
I walked along the beach and down to Point of the Arches to take some photographs of the ocean beach there. But then I turned around and saw the tree at the top of this sea stack at the headland. I positioned the sun behind the tree for this fine art photography art moment. Sunbeams poured out in every direction, and I felt as if I was witnessing divinity shining through into the material world.
Limited Edition Photography Artwork for Home
Of all of my fine art beach photography prints, this is the one I chose to have in my bedroom over my bed, so every day when I wake up, I can relive this incredible morning, with the crashing of the Pacific Ocean and the welcome warmth of the early day September sun. What wall of yours would this beach photograph look best on?
