Sunlit Larches At Sherman Pass
The morning sun bursts through the clouds illuminating a forest of fir and golden larches in the Kettle Range in Northeast Washington State's Colville National Forest.
Fine Art Forest Photography Comes Alive on Vibrant Metal Prints
I created this forest photography print far in the Northeast corner of Washington State on a late autumn trip. I’ve photographed the alpine golden larch trees high in the cascade mountains many times, but I wanted to see and create forest art of their much bigger cousins the Western larches. Larch trees are a deciduous conifer, and in the fall, their needles turn gold and fall for the winter.
Our timing was perfect for golden larch forest photography, and on this glorious but frigid morning, the sun burst through the clouds, illuminating the larches, and the clouds, with divine golden light. This view from Sherman Overlook is a perfect vantage point for looking out over the glorious forest as it recedes into the distance in this enchanting forest wall decor. A part of the Rocky Mountains, the Kettle Range is a unique ecosystem for Washington State, and this is a very unique fine art Rocky Mountain photography wall art print as well.
Small and Large Forest Wall Art to Enhance Any Décor
Of all genres of nature wall art, forest photography may be my favorite. You can practically smell the fresh air and hear the birds singing in this powerfully realistic forest wall art print. You rarely see so many warm tones in forest photography for sale, and the high-above vantage point also makes this truly special forest wall art.
