The Bavarian Village of Leavenworth Washington

The Peak of Travel Fun

This tiny mountain town is such a popular destination, it rivals Seattle for the number of annual visitors. In spring, summer, fall, and winter, people flock to this picturesque place to enjoy shopping, eating, drinking, and participating in Bavarian events. And now they can also witness the most epic beauty Washington State has to offer in our grand 4,000 square foot Leavenworth gallery!

Surrounded by wilderness in every direction, Leavenworth is a popular destination for nature lovers who come here to explore the mountains, canyons, rivers, and trails the area is known for. And after days filled with nature adventures, nothing is more satisfying than a stroll through the ever-so-charming Bavarian themed village.

After the train line was re-routed in the early 60s, this small mountain town was on the verge of collapse. Until clever business owners and city planners united with a vision to create the experience of visiting Germany's Bavarian Alps, right here in the heart of Washington. And they have taken the theme all the way with authentic architecture, monthly themed festivals, and German cuisine on every block.
