Shimmering Summer Sun in Tumwater Canyon
The morning sun crested over the ridges of Tumwater Canyon, turning the Wenatchee River to liquid gold. I found this sandy bend of the river just off Highway 2, where the summer air was warm and the water refreshingly cold. Standing there, surrounded by rushing currents and radiant light, I felt the simple joy of being alive, completely immersed in the shimmering essence of summer in nature’s embrace.
