On a superb September evening in the Pacific Northwest, the clouds perfectly arranged themselves over Squalicum Harbor and lit up dramatically, and I was grateful to get there just in time to capture this bright and vibrant harbor sunset photography print. I had just closed up our Northwest nature photography gallery for the evening and my photographer’s intuition told me to hustle down to the local harbor for some nautical wall art opportunities. 
 
Setting up my tripod as low as possible gave me the best reflection and perfect symmetry above and below. The incredible calmness of the water mirrored the silhouetted sailboat masts beautifully as the sunbeams shot up to the heavens in this unforgettable vertical nautical wall art print. Having the opportunity to create sunset sailboat photography like this is such a delight it truly makes me happy to be a PNW nature photographer.
