When you think of Pacific Northwest fine art photography, you probably don’t think about rocky canyons and deserts. But that’s the magic of Washington State landscape photography, this state is so diverse, it encompasses almost every type of natural landscape and ecosystem. Located in southwestern Washington, Palouse Falls State Park is part of what is known as the Channeled Scablands which were carved by a series of over 40 massive floods that occurred while the ice age glaciers were melting. Most fine art photography for sale of this park focus on the 198 ft waterfall which is to the left of the scene in this river canyon photograph. But having hundreds of Pacific Northwest waterfall photographs already, I chose here to focus on what’s so unique about this location and create fine art canyon landscape photography prints for sale.
