Morning on the lake can be an exceptionally peaceful time, and the morning that I captured this lakeside forest photography wall art was no exception. The water was still and glassy, not a cloud was in the sky, and the trees were in peak fall color. I had been on the hunt for iconic Bellingham photography all morning, starting by taking photos of Whatcom Falls, but then getting a strong instinct to shoot over and see what Lake Padden photography prints I could capture as well. 
 
I was glad for those forest photography artist’s instincts because the timing for this fall color lakeside forest wall art was superb. A short walk along the path on the north side of Lake Padden brought me to this beautiful spot.
